From here, Invest and Trade WA will promote economic engagement between Western Australia and Germany. The agency was supported in its establishment by FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH International Marketing of the Region (FRM GmbH) in close co-operation with the Frankfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Frankfurt Economic Development Agency.

The Western Australian Government maintains a network of investment and trade offices through Invest and Trade WA, including in the ASEAN region, China, India, the Gulf region, North East Asia, America, the UK and now also in Frankfurt am Main/Germany. The aim is to attract investors to Western Australia, facilitate investment in the state and support local Western Australian industry in accessing new export markets. The agency is headquartered in Western Australia’s capital, Perth.

FRM GmbH supported Invest and Trade WA with its first steps in Frankfurt RheinMain. The international location team of the regional location marketing organisation supported the agency in close cooperation with the Frankfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the City of Frankfurt's economic development department in establishing contacts with business networks and successfully positioned Frankfurt in competition with other locations in Europe.
